We respect the rights of creators, including the people who make games on AI Game Platform. This page explains how to report content that infringes your copyright or trademark, how to respond if your content was removed, and what happens to repeat infringers.
Before you report
- Only the rights holder or someone authorised to act for them can file a notice.
- Consider whether the use may be allowed without permission, for example quotation, parody or other uses permitted by law.
- AI-generated content can be similar to existing works by coincidence; please point to the specific elements you believe were copied.
- Misleading notices harm real creators. Knowingly false notices may lead to account action and legal liability.
How to file a notice
Use the "Report" button on the game, comment or profile and choose "Copyright or trademark", or write to [FILL IN: complaints email] with the subject "Copyright notice". Please include:
- your name and contact details, and, if you act for someone else, whom you represent;
- a description of the work or trademark you own;
- links to the content on the Platform you believe infringes it, and what exactly is copied;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by you, your agent or the law;
- a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them;
- your signature (typing your full name is enough).
What we do
We review complete notices promptly. If the notice is valid we remove or hide the content and tell the uploader, including the name of the complainant and a copy of the notice where the law allows. We may ask you for more information. We do not judge disputes about ownership; where rights are disputed, the parties should resolve them between themselves or in court.
Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or you have the right to use it, write to [FILL IN: complaints email] with the subject "Counter-notice" and include:
- your name and contact details;
- links to the removed content;
- the reason you believe the removal was a mistake, and a statement that this is true to the best of your knowledge;
- your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts named in the Terms of Service for a dispute with the complainant;
- your signature.
We pass the counter-notice to the complainant. If they do not tell us within 10 working days that they have started legal proceedings, we may restore the content.
Repeat infringers
We count valid notices against an account. Accounts that repeatedly infringe the rights of others are suspended and, in appropriate cases, permanently banned, and their games are unpublished.
Remixes and AI tools
When you remix someone's game on the Platform, you use their work under the licence described in the Terms of Service; this does not give you rights outside the Platform. Do not ask AI tools to recreate characters, music, logos or assets that belong to someone else.
