This policy lists every cookie and browser storage item AI Game Platform uses. We use them only to run the Platform. There are no advertising cookies, no third-party analytics and no cross-site tracking.
Cookies and similar technologies
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. Websites can also keep data in your browser's local storage (kept until deleted) and session storage (kept until you close the tab). This policy covers all three.
Because we only use items that are needed for the service you asked for or that remember your own choices, we do not show a consent banner. If we ever add optional cookies, we will ask first.
Cookies we set
__Host-platform-session— keeps you signed in, as an account or as a guest. Strictly necessary. It cannot be read by scripts, is sent only over HTTPS to our own domain, and lasts 30 days for accounts. For guests the cookie can last up to 400 days so that you keep the same guest identity, but the guest session itself ends after 30 days without a visit.preferred_locale— remembers the language you chose. Functional. Lasts one year.platform-preview— lets an author open a preview of their own unpublished game on the play domain. Strictly necessary for that feature. Lasts 15 minutes.
Browser storage we use
- Author drafts and work in progress — unsent prompts, the active editing room and the ids of AI jobs that are still running, so nothing is lost when you reload. Local storage, on your device only.
- Voice settings — the volume and mute choices you made for other players. Local storage.
- Game sound settings and local saves — volume settings and, for solo games, saved progress. Local storage on the game's own domain.
- Hand-off between the site and the app — the prompt you typed or the game you chose to remix before signing in, and what you wanted to do after sign-in. Session storage, cleared once used or when the tab closes.
- Staff review mode — a flag used only by our administrators. Local storage.
Third parties
We do not allow third parties to set cookies on our pages. Games made by users run on separate domains in a sandbox and cannot read our cookies; they may use their own local storage on their domain for saves and settings.
How to control them
You can delete cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time. If you delete the session cookie you will be signed out (and a guest will get a new guest identity). Blocking cookies entirely will stop sign-in from working.
